Sue Baccam has been with OM Medispa since March 2008. She is a licensed esthetician, nail technician, and medical assistant. The greatest
reward is to gain the trust of clients, by striving for honest education and realistic goals through proper management of client’s expectations, by
explaining the physiological effects of what each treatment does for the skin’s matrix. In order to accomplish any clinical results, Sue realized that listening
to the emotion of the client comes first. When a client finally feels positive towards her skin, it is truly satisfying and fulfilling.
Sue has also collaborated with Dr. Susarla to offer an advanced esthetic workshop in Illinois. OM Medispa is approved by the state to offer continuing education hours for estheticians, so that they can keep their license current. Students see live demonstrations of lasers, injections, microdermabrasions, chemical peels, along with lectures and theories of treatment protocols, and esthetician’s primary role with a physician. This active learning allows them to see a glimpse of what a medical spa entails.
Sue says, “I am grateful to be in this fascinating industry where technology and skin care continues to advance. I thrive on building a trusting relationship with my clients in order for their skin to achieve improvement in texture, reflection, product absorption, increased cell turnover, and collagen production through stimulation of fibroblast cells. It has been a blessing to be part of the OM Medispa team.”
